HIGHFIELD & REHIS MARK 25 YEARS OF "POSITIVE PARTNERSHIP" AT CONFERENCE

The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland’s 26th Annual Conference took place on 13–14 May 2009, and Highfield was there to mark a very special anniversary.

This year’s conference was entitled 'Environmental Health - More Than Regulation' and was held at the Western House Hotel in the delightful region of Ayr on the west coast of Scotland.

REHIS President Colin Wallace opened the conference with an excellent presidential address. This was followed by the keynote speech delivered by Shona Robinson, Minister for Public Health and Sport.

The conference is a major event in the Scottish Environmental Health diary, providing information on current and future approaches to protecting and improving the health of the Scottish community.

This particular REHIS conference held special significance in the Highfield calendar as it marked 25 years of "positive partnership" between the two organisations.

Highfield was represented at the event by Customer Services Director Jayne Sprenger and Training Manager Helen Greenhow.
