The Level 3 Business Administrator Standard is designed for learners in business administrator roles who are working both independently or as part of a team. The role will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services, demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills. They are expected to deliver their responsibilities efficiently and with integrity, show a positive attitude and show initiative, manage priorities and their own time, use problem-solving and decision-making skills and demonstrate the potential for people management responsibilities through mentoring or coaching others. Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors, including small and large businesses in the public, private and charitable sectors. The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers, contributing to the efficiency of the organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested.
